At the end of the day, we are accountable for ourselves

With life there’s always rewards and consequences to your actions. Having ownership takes time, knowledge, dedication, and consistency.     Even though we may not have understood this concept at a young age, it was always there. Do you remember as a kid looking up to your older sibling and wanting to be just like them? Yes me too, I remember when my older sister started doing gymnastics class, and I wanted to do all the cool tricks just like her. I would go with my mom to her classes, and just sit there and watch so closely. I would practice all the moves in the mirror to myself repeatedly .  After learning the moves, and practicing consistently  I was able to do the tricks just like her. I didn't realize what commitment meant, but it showed me having skill, determination and accountability can get you positive results.    However, if it weren’t for the mistakes, we wouldn’t know how to take ownership for ourselves.
